Day 1 - 5
South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
- Welcome to Zambia! Upon arrival in Lusaka you will hop aboard your domestic flight to Mfuwe airport for the great South Luangwa National Park.
- You will be met at the airport by your Chikuntoguide and transferred to the stunning luxury tented camp.
- You will spend the next four nights of your tour here as you discover the delights of the park and view fantastic game numbers, on your activities and even just relaxing at the lodge as animals stroll through.
Chikunto Safari Lodge
Day 6 - 7
South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
- Today you will go deeper into the park to Mwamba bush camp.
- One of the Shenton Safaris camps is famed for its excellent standard of guides who will navigate you through the wilderness in this unspoiled area to find big game, small game, birdlife, flora, and outstanding scenery.
- Why not check out their photography hide by the waterhole which allows you to get up close to the wildlife ‘undercover’!
- This authentic and charming camp will be your home for the next two nights of your tour.
Mwamba
Day 8 - 9
South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
- Moving on now to the next in the Shenton Safaris portfolio, Kaingo, where you will stay for the next two nights of your itinerary.
- A unique selling point for this beautiful camp is the option for a ‘sleep out’! Trade in your chalet for a night as you climb up into the canopy and onto their Numbu star bed which is open to the elements.
- Just a duvet and a mosquito net separates you from the big African night sky and find yourself lulled to sleep by the sounds of the bush and nocturnal creatures coming to life around you.
- Don’t worry, there is a ranger posted nearby for your safety and comfort!

Kaingo
Day 10 - 13
South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
- Today you will be transferred back into the heart of the park to stay at the exquisite Lion Camp.
- You will be based here for the last four nights of this tour so be sure to make the most of it. Perched on raised wooden platforms, this lodge offers excellent service, and divine food and is situated in a game-rich area where wildlife often passes through camp meaning you can enjoy some of your best wildlife viewing from the comfort of your deck, the swimming pool, or even your open air claw-foot bathtub!
